getting to Oaxaca is easy and relatively ecomical if you plan in advance
ADO buses from Mexico city bus station Tapo central leave hourly with about a 6 hour journey at a cost of $25 to $35 US
Also Aviacsa and Mexicana have direct flights from Mexico city( 45 minutes) for about $70 US
 From the US, Mexicana now offers direct weekend flights from LA to Oaxaca ( non stop) for about $300 US roundtrip with advance booking
Volaris offers direct flights Oaxaca- Tijuana where you can catch a trolley or bus to San Diego ( about 1 hour downtown SanDiego to Airport Tijuana) prices with advance booking are about $200 US return!

Oaxaca has a variety of hotels and we can recommend lovely economical accomodation with 2 minutes of the studio
also we can offer accomodation right in our school starting at $25 US per night( single) in a lovely spacious loft stlye room
